Downtime

It seems that although the physical move of our server went very smoothly on early Friday morning last, the virtual moving of internet routing to our new server's location... not so much.

We apologize to everyone who experienced the 2.5 hour outage due to this mishap. We're hoping this is the last of the interruptions, we'll keep you posted if any are planned to occur again.

Planned Server Outage

With the addition of the world map and questing features, the latest update has proven to be very popular. In the week of the update, we've had four times the battles logged on the server than usual. We're glad you like it, and there are new quests in the works already. I can't tell you about them, though... the bandits will get me.

However, this silver lining is not without its cloud. Our hosting provider is moving physical locations, so Junk:Battles will be down for at least 1-2 hours. The move will happen Friday, November 27th at 1:00am EST.

Giant November Update - A Brave New World

Up to now, Junk: Battles has been all about the battles. Players could fight other players and bots in the arena, experiencing car-to-car gladiatorial combat. Today, we're releasing the latest update to Junk: Battles that brings pilots out of the arena, and into the dangerous world of Brokin.

Travel around post-apocalyptic Scrapton, a wasteland occupied by hordes of bandits and gypsies, in pursuit of fame and fortune. The Scrapton City Arena remains available for your pilot-vs-pilot needs. Beyond Scrapton, there are 15 more zones in the enormous world of Brokin, so stay tuned for more exciting adventures!

Speaking of adventures, six inital quests have been created, with more to come in every update. Help recover Rusty's lucky wrench, or fend off some local bandits terrorizing the store! Choose your path through Brokin, and become the pilot you're meant to be.

Part Modificiations. Customize your parts to better suit your needs. Want some more damage on that weapon? Add some diamond tipped rounds! Or how about bolting on a Sniper Scope to add a chance for a critical hit?
